PREMIER LEADERSHIP ACADEMY HIGHLIGHTS COMPANY’S INVESTMENT IN ITS PEOPLE.

The first graduating class of the Premier Leadership Academy recently completed a 6-month training and coaching program and signifies the value the company holds for its employees.

Big Lake, Minn. June 8, 2023 – Premier Marine’s commitment and vision to build a world class pontoon manufacturing company took another giant step forward recently. The first class of graduates from the Premier Leadership Academy represents the most significant investment in the company’s future to date, its people. The class of 8 individuals came from all facets of the company, and their graduation marked the completion of a six-month training program designed to enhance both self-guidance and the ability to lead and guide others with a positive influence.

“People will always be the most important asset in the success and growth of our company,” said Premier Marine CEO Matt Homan. “The best investment we can ever make is in the lives of those who we believe have the ability to be leaders and mentors within this organization. The leadership program is designed to help people grow, both personally and within our company.”

Selected by Premier leadership, participants in the academy learn about self-leadership, self-awareness, conflict management, team management, team development, and more. Most classes are led by Dan Scarrow from Touchstone Leadership, who also provides one-on-one coaching sessions with participants. More than just a business leadership class, the program’s goals also strive to enhance a participant’s ability to guide their own life and those around them.

“I think it’s a great example of how each of us at Premier really want to live by our company values, and to change lives for the better,” said Homan.

From here, the first class of graduates will continue to have opportunities for coaching and leadership development tailored to their individual needs; be it through work assignments, additional class opportunities, or mentoring relationships.
