Big Lake, Minn. January 23, 2026 – Premier Pontoons was recognized once again for their continuous innovation as the recipient of the 2026 Innovation Award by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and Boating Writers International (BWI). The award was presented during the opening of the Discover Boating Minneapolis Boat Show, highlighting Premier’s ongoing commitment to boater-driven designs that elevate the boating experience and have helped shape the industry. “We’re so honored to receive this award for the Command Anchor,” said Casey Osterholt, Vice President of Engineering at Premier Marine. “I’m especially proud of our team who spent a lot of late nights getting this design just right. The powered design stows securely below deck within the PTX center tube and is controlled using Premier’s HelmVision touchscreen or bow-mounted foot controls. The system eliminates wet ropes, mud, and sore backs and remains securely stowed even in the roughest water. Featuring a Delta/plow-type anchor and heavy-duty chain, it also ensures reliable holding in the most challenging conditions. The 2026 honor marks Premier’s fourth Innovation Award in five years, following wins for Troll & Stow in 2024, Sunsation Angler with Open Water Panels in 2023, and Revolution Seating in 2022. The Innovation Awards celebrate manufacturers and suppliers who introduce groundbreaking products to the recreational boating industry.
