Premier Marine has received the NMMA CSI Award for Excellence in Customer Satisfaction for the 2010 program year. Presented by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), this marks the sixth year that Premier Marine has secured the honor. NMMA President Thom Dammrich will also recognize award recipients during a special ceremony at this fall's International Boat Builder's Exhibition (IBEX) show in Miami.
The Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Award recognizes companies that actively measure customer satisfaction to pursue continuous improvement. Recipients have achieved and maintained an independently measured standard of 90 percent or higher in customer satisfaction during the past year, based on customer surveys. Premier Marine's pontoon boats were recognized for their performance, style, comfort, and durability.
NMMA launched its CSI program in 2001 to provide boat and engine manufacturers with an independently-measured, cost-effective tool to help improve customer satisfaction in the boating industry. Since the program's inception, more than 500,000 surveys have been sent out to new boat and engine customers, allowing participating manufacturers to monitor customer satisfaction on an ongoing basis, and to benchmark themselves against the industry and their competitors. The program currently has 110 boat and engine brands participating.
Boating Life has featured Premier as an innovator in the marine industry for their revolutionary PTX™ triple tube technology. Watch the video to learn more.
The PTX™ package—with a flat planing surface and lifting strakes placed on the inside of the two outer tubes—dramatically increases performance, stability and maneuverability, allowing for a quicker response, tighter turning radius and better fuel economy. This system allows the boat to get up on plane faster, increasing your top speed by about 10% or more. Premier’s extensive research has found that pontoons perform best with strakes only on the inside of the outside tubes. Placing strakes on the outside of the tubes drastically decreases handling and overall boat performance by working against you in a banking turn.
Starting with our 2007 product line, every pontoon Premier sells is backed by an ALL-INCLUSIVE limited* warranty on mechanics and construction and our personal commitment to customer satisfaction. Every screw, staple, cleat, bracket, couch, helm, wire—everything—is covered and eligible for full replacement. In addition, we continue our exceptional lifetime warranty on decks and rotocast furniture, a 20-year warranty on Bimini frames, and a 5-year warranty on carpet and vinyl.

SO (International Organization for Standardization) is a global network that identifies what international standards are required by business, government and society, develops them in partnership with the sectors that will put them to use, adopts them by transparent procedures based on national input, and delivers them to be implemented worldwide. ISO standards level the playing field. They make transparent the requirements that products must meet on world markets, as well as the conformity assessment mechanisms for checking that those products measure up to standards. Premier is proud to receive this prestigious certification and pass on the high standard of manufacturing required by ISO to our customers. What does this mean to you? A better product through better business practices.
